Happy retirement to beloved Prince

Today is a bittersweet day at Rainbow Riders as we wish a happy retirement to beloved program horse, Prince. Prince came to Rainbow Riders in 2019 and has stolen the hearts of countless program participants, volunteers, and staff.

Prince, we will miss your “dancing” and silly tongues-out expression. Your love of Jube Jube candies is unmatched and we hope there will be lots of candied treats in your future. Your paddock mate Bob and the rest of the herd will miss you very much! 

At the age of 27, Prince has more than earned his retirement and we wish him all the best! He is going to live in Alberta with his owner, Kayla and we are very excited for their reunion. Thank you for being such an amazing program horse, Prince! We miss you already.
